Garage Home Cinema

In this project we converted a garage into a perfect family Home Cinema room.

The furniture concept was designed in house with the final design and construction completed by “Childs and Co”, www.childsandco.co.uk  The base cabinets contain the subwoofers, centre speaker and the electronics to run the room. Ventilation for the electronics is taken out the rear of the cabinet. The tall outer cabinets house the left and right speakers. Control of the room is via a Control4 10″ touchscreen, thjis makes the cinema very easy to use and also handles the heating and lighting for the space. The dark ceiling is in fact a  horizontal motorised blind we installed to cover the glass roof. This closed automatically as soon as the projector is switched on.
